May the peace of Christ be yours in 2008. And welcome to Saint E'z website! We hope it gives you an idea of the beautiful people who are part of our parish family. Saint Elizabeth's Catholic Church is an inner city parish in south west Kingston. The parish is in the neighborhood of Lyndhurst Park, Arnett Gardens, Maxfield Avenue, and includes church members from Trenchtown, Vineyard Town and beyond. The Church is an oasis in an area of violence, poverty and unemployment. We are a light of faith and hope for many people. As you can see from some of the photos we serve the youth, the elderly, the sick and the faithful. We work with other churches, the government and various aid organizations, especially Food for the Poor. Christmas here was not peaceful but more like the first Christmas when the holy family had to flee and protect their child from the violence of Herod.  Please remember us in your thoughts and prayers.

Fr. Richard Award, C.P. returned as pastor of Saint E'z on Monday, the 16th of January, 2006.  Father Richard Leary, C.P. has returned to Kingston after many years in Mandeville.  Father Peter Grace, C.P. is now working in Nassau in the Bahamas and is pastor of St. Bede's Parish as well as helping the Archdiocese with its communications office and its plans to launch a radio station.

We wish to extend our gratitude to Fr. Peter for his warm hopsitality and shared vision with the Parish.  During his short tenure, Fr. Peter was instrumental in several developments in the Parish.  As we speak, this website is a primary example.  Thank you Fr. Peter!!!! We will always remember you in our prayers.

           God Bless you!
