The Passionists arrived in Jamaica in 1955. On Oct. 23, 2005 the people of Jamaica celebrated the contribution the Passionists have made in uplifting their lives. Some of those present were Cameka Edwards, (Secretary at St E'z), Archbishop Lawrence Burke, (Archbishop of Kingston), Bishop Paul Boyle, C.P. (Bishop Emeritus of Mandeville), people from Kingston, Mandeville and all over Jamaica, Fr Richard Leary, C.P., Bro. Michael Stomber, C.P., Br. Ian Gayle, C.P. (studying in Trinidad), Frs.
